Washington: A rare total solar eclipse today. Today's special feature is that the Sun is completely obscured when the Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth. Countries like North America, Canada and Mexico will be able to see this eclipse. Today's eclipse is known as the Great North American Eclipse. The eclipse will not be visible from India. Agencies including NASA are broadcasting the eclipse live. The eclipse will begin at 9.12 pm on April 8. April 9 will end at 2.25 am. Even during the day when the moon hides the sun, it feels dark.
